About 6.6 inches of snow fell within 12 hours in New Baltimore, as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Another two to four inches are expected to head this way in the afternoon and there's still some cautionary reports for travel since sleet and freezing rain can be anticipated, according to the service.
Meanwhile, local districts, such as Anchor Bay and L'Anse Creuse, closed Wednesday. They announced closings Tuesday night.
