In Brief: Accident on I-94 in Chesterfield Causes Lane Closures

The Chesterfield Township Fire Department says an SUV driver suffered minor injuries from the Saturday roll-over accident.

A driver suffered minor injuries Saturday in a single-car accident that backed up traffic on I-94 near 23 Mile in Chesterfield Township, fire officials said.

At approximately 11:10 a.m., an SUV crashed and rolled over, prompting the closure of two lanes eastbound lanes on the freeway for about 15 minutes, according to the township .

There was no immediate cause known for the crash and no further information about the driver was released soon after the incident.
