Chesterfield Names Official Flower
Naldrett Elementary student won the contest to name the community's flower.

Choosing fourth-grader Lincoln Edward's nomination, the perennial sunflower has become Chesterfield Township's official flower.
The Beautification Committee acknowledged the boy during the Monday night Board of Trustees meeting, where they gave him a certificate, prize and sunflower seeds for his 50-word essay submission. Lincoln was one of multiple kids who joined the .
The flower will be planted on township grounds.
