Chesterfield Police Officer Awarded For DUI Arrests
Eric Meier is among the top nine police officers in Michigan acknowledged for drunken driving arrests.
In the past year, officer Eric Meier made 56 drunken driving arrests, according to Chief Bruce Smith.
That accomplishment was recognized Thursday by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, which awarded nine officers across the state for their vigilance against driving-under-the-influence offenses. Meier is a 13-year veteran of the force, Smith said.
