Chesterfield Splash Park Expected in September, Brandenburg Admission Won't Rise

The splash park at Brandenburg Park will not mean park admission increases, according to the township.

Chesterfield Township kids might have back to school on the brain in fall, but they won't need to pack away their bathing suits just yet.

The is expected to open in September at , Clerk Jan Uglis said Wednesday.

The park will not mean increased admission fees at Brandenburg, Uglis said.

The township board approved the splash park at the last board meeting. At the time, Supervisor Michael Lovelock said, "It's going to be probably one of the biggest splash parks in Macomb County when it gets done."
