Fogarty Leads Anchor Bay Bowlers

Anchor Bay boys bowling team defeats Port Huron Northern 22-8.

Jon Fogarty led the boys bowling team to a 22-8 victory over Port Huron Northern on Thursday.

Fogarty bowled games of 233 and 243 for a 476 series for Anchor Bay.

Shawn Bibee had games of 193 and 229 for a 422 series, and Shane Barthlow had games of 205 and 213 for a 418 series for the Tars.

Sebastian Freeman paced Port Huron Northern with games of 210 and 241 for a 451 series.

Anchor Bay, which improved its overall record to 4-3, will compete at the Regina/De La Salle Heartbreakers tournament on Saturday.
