Lights Come Back on for Most of Chesterfield

The lights were back on early Sunday evening for most Chesterfield Township households that lost power the previous night.

More than 2,300 customers lost power Saturday night due to weather conditions. Many of those affected by the storm outages had no power overnight and well into Sunday morning and afternoon, according to DTE.

Earlier Sunday afternoon, the DTE outage map projected restoration between 9:30-11:30 p.m. that night. The power returned sooner though--with all but approximately 10 customers without electricity by 4 p.m.
