Macomb Community College hosts evening of family-friendly astronomy activities

Macomb Community College will host a night of family-friendly astronomy activities that will include a keynote speech by NASA Astronaut and Michigan native Andrew Feustel. The Summer Skies at Macomb program will feature activities including how cold space is, a participatory play about the constellation Andromeda, a comet-making activity for children, a presentation on great telescopes of the world, experiences of two eclipse "chasers," an overview of the wonders of the night sky, Star Lab - planetarium show for kids age 8 and older and children crafts. The activities and presentations will be from 7:30 - 11 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Macomb Community College John Lewis Student Community Center (K Building), South Campus, Macomb Community College, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren.
