While we enjoy tweeting anything from breaking news to random observations in the communities we cover, New Baltimore-Chesterfield Patch also knows the social media site is a good place to connect with and follow others.

@MarkHackel: The former Macomb County sheriff is the first person to ever hold the seat of county executive in this new form of local government. He's all over town and, therefore, all over the news.

@chamberchick: President Lisa Edwards knows all about what's going on in the Anchor Bay area. Promoting chamber member businesses may be one thing, but Edwards also shares inspirational tweets to help brighten followers' days.

@lansecreuse: Some of L'Anse Creuse Public Schools' 12,400 students live in Chesterfield Township. This twitter account keeps parents up to date on district happenings.

@JDiPascale: Speaking of the district, one of the Board of Education members, Jeffrey DiPascale of Chesterfield has a twitter account as well.
