Teen fun

Chesterfield Township Library will host a teen event at 4 p.m. Tuesday with pizza, games, crafts and books on display for summer reading. For more information, visit the library website.

Stories for kids

Stories for young children and drawing class are among the happenings this week at MacDonald Public Library. Learn more about the programs here.

Movie in the park

"Movie Under the Stars" starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Macomb Town Center Park in Macomb Township. "Escape from Planet Earth" along with a kids' concert by "Guy Lewis" will entertain attendees of all ages.

Car shows 

Before the Gratiot Cruise begins in Clinton Township, a slew of car shows will park themselves throughout that community. For a complete list, check out the cruise website. 

Blood drives

The American Red Cross is hosting blood drives in nearby communities this week, such as Mount Clemens, Shelby Township and Fraser. See the schedule here.
