Week Ahead: Music By The Bay, Yoga Summer Camp, Square Dancing and More

Music by the Bay 

Little Camille's restaurant presents "Music By The Bay," a charity music festival with jazz, blues and rock and roll from 5-11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Walter and Mary Burke Park in New Baltimore. Admission is $10, children under 12 enter free with adult. Children's programs 

MacDonald Public Library in New Baltimore hosts children's programs, including "We Dig Potatoes" this week. Chesterfield Township Library is holding an all-day scavenger hunt Thursday.

Civil War Re-enactors  

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will host the 15th Michigan Volunteer Infantry and the 8th Arkansas Infantry for Civil War re-enactments, including a living history encampment, battle skirmishes and cannon firings. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Chesterfield Historical Village on municipal grounds off Sugarbush. Township meeting 

The Chesterfield Township Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Monday for a regularly scheduled session at 47275 Sugarbush. View the agenda here.
