Weekend Planner: New Baltimore Farmers Market, Yoga in the Park, St. Clair River Classic and More

Find fun, family-friendly ways to spend your weekend in the Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore area.

Gearing up for weekend fun in the New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township means exploring local options for individuals and families. Here's a rundown of some things to do this weekend: 

New Baltimore Farmers Market, the popular market off Washington Street is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 13. The Michigan Bridge Card/SNAP/EBT is accepted along with Double UP Food Bucks.

Yoga in the Park, from noon to 1 p.m. Sundays through September Santosha Yoga offers free yoga in Walter and Mary Burke Park in New Baltimore. Participants should dress comfortably, bring mats, water and non-perishable food items for the St. Mary Food Pantry. All levels and ages welcome.     

Aquapalooza, dubbed the "largest on-the-water concert event in America" is from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday off the shores of Belle Maer Harbor in Harrison Township on Lake St. Clair. 

St. Clair River Classic, runs from Thursday through Sunday. The Blue Water Offshore Racing Association, a nonprofit, has been producing races since 1995.  Check out the complete schedule here.

Chesterfield Township Webber Splash Park, inside Brandenburg Park off Jefferson Avenue is open during the weekend. Read some tips for visiting the park here.

Brides To Be Show: The bridal event starts at noon Sunday at the Italian American Society Banquet & Conference Center, 43843 Romeo Plank, where wedding professionals will be on hand to talk to guests about their services. For ticket information, visit the show website.
