What to Bring to Macomb County Hazardous Waste Collections

Macomb County will hold hazardous waste collections this month. 

Drop off sites

  • From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 10 at Washington Township Municipal Offices 
  • From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Macomb County Health Department in Mount Clemens 

Accepted items 

  • Automotive products, including battery acid, cleaners, waxes and transmission fluid
  • Household products, including oven cleaners, drain cleaners and rat poison 
  • Lawn/garden products, including fertilizers and weed killers
  • Electronics, including computers, cell phones and scanners
