What Would You Want Developed on Waterfront Land?
City officials are interested in buying Schmid Marina if grants can be obtained.

As New Baltimore tries to secure grants to scoop up a prime waterfront property, we ask readers to weigh in on what they would like to see along Anchor Bay.
Longtime Schmid Marina, which is currently operational and on the market, spans about 12 acres. It is listed on Remax for $5.9 million as "fantastic opportunity for lake and canal development" with potential for mixed-use developments, such as condos, restaurants and even houses.
City officials say they're to potentially buy the land, but there are no specific plans for the property at this early stage.
