Annessiah Lynn Bush is charged with a felony of assault with intent to do great bodily harm for the July 8 stabbing of her partner in Chesterfield.

A 32-year-old woman accused of wounding her companion by stabbing her on the side of the head at a Chesterfield Township motel was arrested early Saturday morning in Roseville, said Monday.

Roseville police arrested Annessiah Lynn Bush at approximately 4:30 a.m. Saturday on a felony charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm. If convicted of the charge, Bush could face up to 10 years in prison, Detective Sgt. Deron Myers said.

The charge stems from an alleged attack at 4 a.m. July 8 at the at the corner of 23 Mile and Gratiot in the township against her 55-year-old female partner. Before grabbing a knife from the kitchen counter and striking the victim on the side of her head, Bush threw bleach into the victim's face, Myers said.
