Annual Flower Sale and More This Weekend

26th Annual Flower Sale

  • When: Friday - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Where: downtown Northville
  • What: The streets of downtown Northville will be paved with flowers, shrubs and garden accessories. Over 20 top-rated greenhouses and garden shops will participate in the "colorful" event.

5th Annual Talent For The Title! Music & Dance Competition

  • When: Friday, 5 p.m.
  • Where: Broughton Music & Arts Center, 141 North Center Street
  • What: This year's Talent for the Title aims to exceed last year's expectations and to wow the crowd with our local talent along with a return feature performance by last year's Talent for the Title 2012 winners; Unusual Symphony.

Gardenviews Block Party

  • When: Saturday 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • Where: downtown Northville
  • What: After the flower vendors leave on Saturday, Main Street between Center & Hutton will be transformed into a block party for the Gardenviews 18th Anniversary "Dancing in the Street Celebration." Tables and chairs will line the street and food will be available from local restaurant vendors such as Genitti's, Buckministers, and Le George Mediterranean Bistro. Bring your dancing shoes! Live music by "Billy Mack & the Juke Joint Johnnies" from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

Memorial Day Parade

  • When: Monday - step off at 10 a.m.
  • Where: downtown Northville
  • What: VFW Post 4012 proudly presents the 2013 Memorial Day Parade.  The parade will step off at 10 a.m. sharp from Griswold and Main streets.  The parade will continue north on Griswold to west on Main to south on Wing to West on Cady, stopping at Oakwood Cemetery, continue to First, south to Fairbrook, west to Rural Hill Cemetery to the Veterans Memorial.
