Letter Carriers Collecting Food Donations from Mailboxes Today

The nation's largest single-day food drive is back again this year in Northville.

Northville is participating in the nationwide U.S. Postal Service letter carrier food drive today. 

Participants must place donations at their mailboxes by 9:30 a.m. or drop them off at the Northville Civic Concern’s office, 43261 West Seven Mile Road at Highland Lakes Shopping Center, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods, such as canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice or cereal next to their mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday.

Letter carriers will collect these food donations as they deliver the mail and take them to the Northville Civic Concern.
