Local Students perform with MOT Children's Chorus this Friday

Michigan Opera Theatre Children's Chorus to perform this Friday at First United Methodist Church of Northville

Abigail Armstrong and Rebecca Lucksom, both from Northville, will perform as members of the ensemble, and Natalie Corrigan, an MOTCC alumna and a senior at Northville High School, will make a guest appearance as well. Other local area students include Amber Ohlsson and Reed Koesel, both from Canton.

Michigan Opera Theatre Children's Chorus (MOTCC) is a groundbreaking ensemble and the only one of its kind for Metro Detroit children. Founded in 2007, MOTCC, with children ages 8-16, has charmed audiences, embracing diverse cultures and traditions in an extensive range of genres from folk songs to opera. In addition to being the official children’s chorus for all Michigan Opera Theatre productions, MOTCC presents a children’s opera performed for and by children on the Detroit Opera House stage every spring.

Concert is this Friday, December 14 at 7:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Northville located at 777 West Eight Mile Road in Northville. All are welcome. Admission is free. Questions? Call 248-344-1149.
