Northville Grad Bikes to World Title

Chris Uberti biked on the other side of the world to ride to a cycling championhip.

Chris Uberti, a 2005 graduate of , won the Changwon Amateur World Criterium last month in Korea.

The race was an unsanctioned championship, and Uberti said he won 6 million in Korean currency (about $5,200), according to his blog on the Team Panther website.

Earlier this summer, Uberti won the Michigan Criterium Championship.

Uberti is an aerospace engineer in Cincinnati.
