Police Arrest Northville Woman on Charges of Driving Under the Influence

Northville Township police arrested a Northville woman 3 a.m. June 20 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report.
An officer saw the driver of a silver 2005 Toyota Prius heading eastbound on Seven Mile Road near Haggerty Road weaving in its lane and hitting the yellow lane stripes and the white fog line, the report said.
The officer stopped the driver and noticed her eyes were glassy and bloodshot, according to the report, and he smelled intoxicants on her breath. She said she had two shots at around 5 p.m., the report said.
She agreed to a preliminary breath test, which had a result of .187 percent blood alcohol content, according to the report. The legal limit is .08 percent.
The officer arrested her. She paid a $300 cash bond and has a hearing at 35th District Court.
