Police Arrest South Lyon Woman on Charges of Driving Under the Influence
The following information was supplied by the Northville Township police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Northville Township police arrested a South Lyon woman June 6 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report.
And officer saw the driver of a grey 2009 Hyundai Sonata weaving in its lane and hitting the yellow lane divider stripes and the white fog line on Seven Mile Road, the report said. The officer stopped the driver near Haggerty and Eight Mile roads, according to the report.
The officer smelled intoxicants on the driver’s breath, the report said, and noticed her eyes were bloodshot and glassy. The woman, who said she works at a Northville sports bar, said she had one drink after work at about 11:45 p.m., according to the report. She took a preliminary breathalyzer test, which had a result of .110 percent blood alcohol content, according to the report. The legal limit is .08 percent.

The officer arrested and took her to the Northville Township police department, the report said. She was given a $300 bond and has a hearing June 19 at 35th District Court.
