Strong Winds Down Tree at Northville Montessori Center

Northville Montessori Center posted a photo to its Facebook page Monday afternoon of a tree that fell during Sunday's storm. 

Part of a large pine tree — see the photo above — fell down near the school, on Haggerty Road near the border of Northville and Plymouth townships. 

More than 2,200 DTE Energy customers in Northville were without power Monday morning, after high winds rolled through the area just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
