$4,600 Tires, Rims Stolen off Cadillac; GPS' Stolen From Cars

The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

The service manager of Cadillac of Novi reported that a set of four 22-inch chrome wheels and four tires were stolen off an Escalade sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 10, according to a police report. The man said the car was parked in the lot of the car dealership on Grand River Avenue, and the total value stolen was $4,600, the report said. The car was left elevated on wooden blocks.

GPS' Stolen From Cars

A woman reported that her GPS was stolen from her car sometime between 11 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 3, according to a police report. The car was parked in her driveway on Norwich Drive, the report said. The woman said the doors were locked, but there were no signs of forced entry, the report said.

A woman reported that her GPS and cash were stolen from her car sometime between 5 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 1 p.m. on Sept. 9, according to a police report. The woman’s car was parked in her driveway on Haven Street, and she said the doors might have been left unlocked.

Bicycle Stolen

A woman reported that her 9-year-old son’s bicycle was stolen on Sept. 6, according to a police report. The boy said the bike was on the front porch of their residence on Montmorency when he left for school, but it was missing when he came home, the report said.
