Amerman Elementary School Dismissal Delayed by Police Investigation
Novi police said the person under investigation was found not to be involved in the crime.

A Novi police investigation of a house on Galway Drive between Center Street and Novi Road delayed dismissal of Amerman Elementary School Tuesday afternoon, according to an article in the Detroit News.
Novi Director of Public Safety David Molloy said the police were investigating a person in a house around 3 p.m. based on their name. Molloy said they were investigating if that person was related to a crime that happened elsewhere, but they determined that person was not involved at all.
Molloy could not comment on which crime the investigation was related to, as the case is still under investigation.
