Bike Rodeo and More This Weekend

The 2013 Bike Rodeo

• When: Friday 6 p.m.
• Where: 45175 W 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 
• What: May is National Bike Month. In celebration, the City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, American Cycle and Fitness and the Motor City Mountain Biking Association have partnered to offer a FREE Bike Rodeo in the North Parking Lot at Novi High School.

Brainer's Greenhouse Fundraiser

• When: through May
• Where: Brainer's Greenhouse
• What: The Novi schools PTO has vouchers (see right) for its 2013 fundraiser. If you are planning on planting flowers over the Memorial weekend, don't forget to go to Brainer's. They have a great selection and you can use coupons along with the vouchers. The fundraiser goes through the month of May.

Memorial Day Activities

• When: Monday
• Where: Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Fuerst Park, Novi Civic Center
• What: Activities include the Novi Memorial Day Run, a tribute ceremony at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens at 8:45 a.m. and the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. The Memorial Day Run, which includes a 5K and 10K, begins at 8 a.m. at Fuerst Park, at the corner of Ten Mile and Taft Roads. A one mile run begins at 9 a.m. The annual parade begins at 10:00am and travels west along Ten Mile Road from Karim Boulevard to the Novi Civic Center.
