1. Multi-Chamber Business Networking Breakfast
When: Friday 7:30 a.m.Where: Novi's Varsity Lincoln - 49251 Grand River Ave.
What: Attend this multi-chamber mixer. Members of the Novi Chamber, Lakes Area Chamber and Greater Brighton Chamber will gather for breakfast and networking. This is an opportunity to meet professionals from Oakland County in order to expand your contacts and market your business. Continental breakfast provided by Varsity Lincoln.
2. Toastmasters at Walsh College Novi - Open House
When: Friday 11:45 a.m.Where: Walsh College in Novi
What: Toastmasters is an international organization focused on improving communication and leadership skills. Known to many as the “public speaking” association, Toastmasters clubs can be found around the world. Since 1924, Toastmasters has been providing its members with educational programs and resources in a mutually supportive club environment. Beginners and experienced speakers are welcome to join.
3. Lemonade Day Detroit
When: all day SaturdayWhere: across metro Detroit
What: Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches children from preschool to 18 years old how to start, own and operate their own business - a lemonade stand. Presented by Huntington Bank, Lemonade Day Detroit is in its third year of teaching local youth in Metro Detroit about owning their own business.
