Detroit Catholic Central Named in Top 50 Catholic High Schools in Nation

CC was on of the winners of the 2012-2013 Catholic High School Honor Roll competition.

Detroit Catholic Central High School of Novi has been selected as one of the top 50 Catholic high schools in the United States.

CC has been named to the Cardinal Newman Society after applying for the first time. This distinction measures all Catholic high schools throughout the country on Catholic identity, academics and civic education.

"We will continue our efforts to provide the finest Catholic secondary education in the Archdiocese and the state while instilling in our young men the Basilian values of goodness, discipline and knowledge," said CC Principal Rev. John Huber C.S.B, in a statement.

The top 50 schools named to the honor roll are located in 21 states. Pennsylvania has the most schools on the list with seven, followed by Texas with six and Michigan with five.
