Landings Park is approximately 11 acres of undeveloped parkland located at the northeast corner of South Lake Drive and Old Novi Road on Walled Lake. Hamilton Anderson Architecture, the consultant retained by the City of Novi, will be presenting possible design elements and accepting ideas in order to understand citizen expectations for the park when developed.
In June 2009, the City contracted for the preparation of a Land Use Study of City-owned property at the northeast corner of South Lake Drive and Old Novi Road on Walled Lake commonly known as "the Landings Property." After consideration of the City's full range of options at the site, a grant was pursued to improve attractiveness and public use of this green space. In 2010, the City of Novi was awarded a Michigan National Resources Trust Fund Grant in the amount of $437,500 for park development.
