State Representative Hugh Crawford is kicking off a series of public town hall meetings across the state to discuss laws on the Michigan books that may no longer be needed. Crawford, chair of the House Committee on Regulatory Reform, will begin the "Repealer Blitz" tour with a town hall in Novi on March 1. He will join other members of the committee in their districts during the months of March and April.
"As Chair of Regulatory Reform, I want to ensure that Michigan's regulatory environment is simple, fair, efficient, transparent and conducive to business growth and job creation," Crawford said.
Those unable to attend may contact Crawford by email or call his office at 517-373-0827. Crawford also has a form on his website that residents may use to submit a law or regulation for review by the regulatory reform committee.
