Novi Police Arrest Woman for Stealing from Macy's

Novi police arrested a woman Oct. 28 on charges of stealing from Macy’s, according to a police report.

The woman, who was five months pregnant, selected several The North Face jackets at Macy’s at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, the report said. She went into a fitting room and returned wearing one after removing the price tag, the report said. She left the store without attempting to pay for the jacket, according to the report.

Police arrested her on charges of third degree retail fraud, the report said.  She has a hearing Nov. 25.
