Sunday Launches Severe Weather Awareness Week in Novi
A special test of the Outdoor Warning System will take place on Wednesday.

Sunday, April 7 through Saturday, April 13 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Novi.
According to the city's e-newsletter, the 2012 Southeast Lower Michigan severe weather season included the issuance of 119 storm-based warnings with four recorded tornadoes (average is six). The warning lead time average was 24.5 minutes for all severe weather events.
A special test of Novi's Outdoor Warning System will take place Wednesday, April 10 at 1 p.m.
