Unknown Suspect Steals $6K Worth of Power Tools
The following information was supplied by Novi police.
An unknown suspect stole numerous power tools from a construction trailer at a building on 43317 Grand River Ave., the former site of Taste of Bangkok Cuisine, according to a Novi police report.
The trailer was locked up and the property was stolen sometime between 2 p.m. April 29 and noon April 30, the report said. The total value of stolen property from the EBJ Construction trailer was $6,700.
The property included a mud mixer, saws, drills, hammers and laser levels, according to the report.

The officer noticed that the suspect had cut the latch off the side door to gain entry to the trailer while keeping the lock intact, the report said.
