Weekend Events: Fall Concerts and Halloween Parties

Here are some things to do around Novi Oct. 26-28.

Halloween Happening

  • Where: Novi Public Library
  • When: Saturday 11 a.m. to noon
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: Preschool aged children are invited to come in costume to watch a Halloween movie and do some trick-or-treating.

Halloween at the Marquis Theatre

  • Where: Marquis Theatre, 133 E. Main St., Northville
  • When: Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
  • Pricing: $8.50
  • Why Go: The energetic (and not scary), live musical adventure is full of singing and dancing. Find out which ghoul will be the Hocus Pocus winner.  Children are welcome to wear their costumes.

Novi Concert Band Fall Concert

  • Where: Novi Civic Center
  • When: Sunday at 2 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: A selection of family-friendly songs will be played by this adult band. Light refreshments will be served.

Listen @ The Library: Classical Jam

  • Where: Novi Public Library
  • When: Sunday at 3 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: This innovative ensemble is known for their engaging style, creative concert programs and for inviting audience members to share in creation and discovery of music.

  • ONE Training will host a Family Halloween Open House on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
