Weekend Events: First Friday, Motorcycle Show and Super 5K

International Motorcycle Show

• Where: Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi
  
• When: Friday 3-8 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Pricing: $15 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-11. Children ages 5 and younger are free.
  
• Why Go: The largest motorcycle show series features the latest products and services, as well as the hottest new motorcycles, custom bikes, ATVs, scooters and more.

Novi vs. Northville Basketball Games

• Where: Northville High School
  
• When: The girls play at 5:30 p.m., while the boys play at 7 p.m.
• Why Go: Show your school spirit at these rivalry games. 

First Friday

• Where: Art galleries in downtown Northville
  
• When: Friday 6-9 p.m.
• Pricing: Free
• Why Go: Browse the art galleries as they stay open late. Many of the businesses offer complimentary hors d' oeuvres and beverages.

First Saturday Hike

• Where: Maybury State Park. Meet at the concession building off the Eight Mile Road entrance.
• When: Saturday 11 a.m.
• Pricing: Free
• Why Go: Get some fresh air and exercise on this 2.5-3 mile hike. Pace is moderate and suitable for older kids.

Super 5K

• Where: Novi Civic Center
  
• When: Sunday 9 a.m.
  
• Pricing: $35
• Why Go: Burn off some calories before you pig-out for the Super Bowl. Registration on the day-of begins at 7:30 a.m.
