Women Suspected of Stealing Designer Purses Wanted By Novi Police

The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests and charges do not indicate a conviction.

Novi police are looking for two female suspects they think are responsible for stealing from Nordstrom at Twelve Oaks Mall on Novi Road around 2:30 p.m. April 10, according to a police report.

Police suspect the women of stealing four Tory Burch designer handbags valued at $1,880, the report said.

A Nordstrom employee saw the women leaving the area in a silver Dodge Magnum onto Twelve Mile Road, according to the report, but the employee did not see the vehicle's plate.

The security tape showed two female suspects entering the north doors, walking apart from each other, the report said. The first suspect selected three purses from a display and set them down on the floor a few feet away, the report said. The woman walked a few feet away and met with the second suspect across the aisle, according to the report.

Both women walked back to the purses -- the first suspect selected three and the second suspect selected one  -- and walked out of the north doors together, the report said.
