Investigators believe the traffic signal was flashing red for North Saginaw Street traffic when the pedestrians crossed the intersection. They said the black vehicle made a right turn onto East Huron Street, hit the pedestrians, and continued moving west, never stopping.

They were all taken to nearby hospitals where a 51-year-old Pontiac man died, officials said.
