5 Things To Do This Weekend in Rochester-Rochester Hills
The Downtown Rochester Winter Farmers' Market kicks off Nov. 5

ROCHESTER, MI — Mark your calendar! Here are a few activities going on in the Rochester-Rochester Hills area to check out:
1. The Downtown Rochester Winter Farmers’ Market will be jam-packed with goodies including gourmet cheeses, kettle corn, produce, sauces, cider and hot chocolate. Getting hungry yet? The market will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays from November 2016 through January 2017 at the Rochester Fire Department (277 E. Second Street, Rochester). For more info, click here.
2. Stay in the holiday spirit at the Holiday Bazaar at Rochester High School (180 S Livernois Rochester Hills) on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over 125 artists will be there. Admission: $3.

3. It’s never too early to learn how to be handy. The Rochester Hills Home Depot (225 Avon Rd., Rochester Hills) is offering a free kids’ workshop on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Click here to register. This week’s project: Building a Veteran’s Day Toy Helicopter. To the chopper!
4. Want a little culture? Head to the Detroit Institute of Arts (5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit) for the "Detroit After Dark" exhibit.

5. Salute Michigan service men and women at Detroit Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, Nov. 6. The parade starts at MLK High School at noon and ends at Hart Plaza.
