
Three southeast Michigan nonprofits are competing in a Facebook campaign for $250,000 from the Home Depot Foundation's Aprons in Action program.
The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, Lifebuilders of Detroit and Jewish Family Service of West Bloomfield are among the 10 nonprofits competing for the prize.
Voting takes place throughout March at www.facebook.com/homedepotfoundation. The organization with the most votes at the end of the month will win the $250,000 grand prize. Organizations with the second and third most votes will receive $150,000 and $100,000 respectively, from The Home Depot Foundation.

- Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans (Wheaton, IL)
- Utah State Veterans Home (Salt Lake City, UT)
