On Thursday, Oakland County Commissioners honored Paul Carey of Rochester Hills for six decades of broadcast excellence. The recognition took place in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium, and it coincided with October being Carey's 20th year since his last Detroit Tiger Broadcast with Ernie Harwell.
