Football Players, Cheerleaders Wear Pink to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

The Rochester Redskins football teams played in pink this weekend, with players and cheerleaders wearing pink jerseys or socks for the organization's first Tackling Cancer weekend.

The goal of the weekend games was to promote awareness and raise funds for cancer research. Each varsity player had a chance to play in honor or memory of a friend or loved one affected by cancer. They wore pink jerseys with that person's name on the back.
