Congratulations to the eighth-grade girls basketball team at ! The majority of this team has been playing together for many years and it certainly shows by their play on the court. The term “team” is certainly a representation of this great group of young ladies as they are also very close friends on and away from competitive field.
As a seventh-grade team were undefeated in their league play, outscoring their opponents with a spread averaging 30 points a game. No team scored higher than 14 points against this defensively solid team.

As they advanced to eighth grade, they stepped it up, as did their competition throughout Rochester, Troy and Avondale school districts. This year the girls scored 440 points and only gave up 123. No other team at Hart has scored higher than 351 points for a season — just one of the records they broke!
The eighth-grade team was coached by Joe Trolla; this highly athletic team of girls are: Kara Byrd, Gabrielle Cuckovich, Megan Davis, Courtney Eckhout, Kayla Goisdzinski, Jessica Johnson, Katherine Keever, Olivia Mooney, Jessica Panone, Taylor Paradowski, Sammy Sattmann, Emma Sobcyznski, Leia Stephan, Lexi Tomlak, Kelsee Zajac, managed by Maddie Siedell.
