Join Friends of Howlett Park and the Six Rivers Regional Land Conservancy to combat invasive species and re-establish native habitats in Howlett Park in our first annual fall invasive plant workday. We will be cutting and treating invasive shrubs such as Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) and Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora).
Participants are asked to meet on the north side of Howlett Pond near the large oak tree.
