You’ve been to the farmer's market and now you have a kitchen full of fresh vegetables and herbs. So now what?
Get some great suggestions on Monday, Aug. 20 at “Cooking with Herbs,” a fundraiser cooking class featuring a summer menu using fresh herbs. The class will be presented in the ballroom at the from 11:30 am to 2 pm.

Chef Brad will share the recipes of each of the courses that he demonstrates, along with helpful tips and techniques. You will learn how to prepare herb butter and how to incorporate fresh herbs into main dishes and fresh vegetables as well as desserts. Then you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying a delicious lunch consisting of each of the dishes that the chef prepared.
A cash bar featuring beer and wine will also be available.

A silent auction offering a variety of items from artwork, to theatre and concert tickets, to a basket of cook books will be on hand.
Cost for this delectable culinary experience is $45. Seating is limited; make a reservation by Aug. 13 by calling Ron Meegan at 248-340-9215 or 248-804-1383.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library. The Friends is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the library by providing funds for a variety of programs, features and activities.
