The meeting place of The Guilded Needle Chapter of the Embroiders' Guild of America (EGA) has moved to a new location. It now meets at Needlepoint for You, 1969 W. South Boulevard in Troy.
Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Our current membership is drawn from, but not limited to, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Troy, Clawson and Waterford.
The Guild is starting a new sampler project that will include learning black work techniques and other counted stitches on linen.
EGA is a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the art of embroidery. Membership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the expert.
