Parents like to be involved in understanding their children's development, behavior and emotions. We are under great stress and tension.
What better way to become involved in releasing stress and tensions than through attending 7 or 8 sessions of STEP classes (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting)? The classes offer parents, guardians, grandparents, caretakers, a realistic approach to meeting the challenges of children today. Though the support groups, persons become actively involved in discussing common concerns and learning specific child-training techniques.
1. The Early Childhood STEP class is 7 sessions, held on Thursdays starting October 4 from 7:30 - 9 pm. Costs $90 per household.
2. STEP and STEP/teen class is 8 sessions, held on Mondays starting October 1st from 7:30 - 9 pm. Costs $100 per household.
Purchase your book the first night of class for $15. Scholarships are available.
Classes start in soon. Classes will be held at the First Congregational Church UCC, 1315 N. Pine Street, Rochester.
