New Montessori School Rochester Opens in Rochester Hills

Rochester Hills residents Ron and Joanne Shango are showing their support of their hometown by opening a traditional Montessori School based on the philosophy developed by Maria Montessori, to service the families of Greater Rochester. The Montessori School Rochester (Spirit of the Child LLC) has opened enrollment for Fall, 2012 and offers various programs for children 12 months – elementary and is offering special discounts for May and June registration.

The School is located at 1812 Rochester Rd, situated 1 mile north of M-59 and 1 mile south of downtown Rochester.

Joanne Shango has 20 years experience in Montessori education and as a mother has found a need for true and affordable Montessori School in Greater Rochester. The goal of the school is to offer every child a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive, while fostering a love of learning and building a strong foundation of Academic achievement, social awareness and self confidence in every student. The school has been a work in progress for 18 months and has now found a home in one of Rochester Hills preserved historic homes. The school is adjacent to Dr. Trachts Pediatric Dentistry office and across from Bordine’s Nursery.
