RAYA Announces Raffle Award Winner

The following news was submitted by the Rochester Area Youth Assistance.

A cash prize of $8,630 was awarded to Mr. Fred Bowen of Rochester Hills whose winning ticket was drawn on Oct. 22, 2011 at the RAYA Halloween Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Rochester Fire Department.

Because of lower than expected ticket sales for the Chevrolet Cruze, the raffle was converted to a 50/50 drawing.  Mr. Bowen purchased his ticket at Rockin Rods n’ Rochester on July 11. 

All funds raised from this raffle drawing will be used toward RAYA programs and services for youth and families in the Rochester Community. 

The next community event and fundraiser for RAYA will be a Spaghetti Dinner taking place during the Fire and Ice Festival Jan. 27 and 28 followed by a breakfast Sunday morning at the Rochester Fire Department.
