Redskins Are Runners Up in Youth Football Super Bowl Event

It's not every day you play in a Super Bowl.

On Sunday, players on the Rochester Redskins Freshman Maroon team were able to do just that.

It was the championship game for the Michigan Youth Football and Cheer Conference; the Redskins lost to the undefeated Meridian Mustangs 21-6, finishing their season 8-3.

The team includes 9 and 10-year-old players from all of the elementary schools in Rochester and Rochester Hills.
