Gene Michalski, president and CEO, Beaumont Health System, has announced the appointment of Nancy Susick, RN, of Rochester Hills, as president of Beaumont Hospital, Troy, responsible for overseeing the operations of the 406-bed hospital and its ambulatory, diagnostic and surgery centers. Susick has held various staff, nursing leadership and administrative positions at Beaumont, Royal Oak and Troy since 1986. She most recently served as vice president, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer for Beaumont, Troy.
She recently retired from the United States Navy Reserve, holding the rank of Captain after 24 years of service. Susick has a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Mercy College of Detroit and a master’s degree in Nursing from Oakland University. She is the first female and nurse president of a Beaumont hospital.
