In partnership with Rochester Avon Recreation Authority, Michigan Youth Flag Football is proud to announce the donation of 10 NFL footballs to each of the 13 public elementary schools in the Rochester community.
Michigan Youth Flag Football had a unique opportunity; we came across a large quantity of NFL footballs and offered them to the Rochester elementary schools to be used as recess equipment. With the help of Michelle Bueltel, PTA Council President, they were able to present them to each of the school PTA Presidents at their monthly meeting held Feb. 16.

Michigan Youth Flag Football is new to the Rochester community as a youth sports provider this spring. It is an affiliate of the NFL and provides NFL Flag Football to youth ages 4- 14. All participants receive a reversible NFL Flag Football jersey, representing one of the NFL teams, and flags that are theirs to keep the completion of the season.
All teams are formed by school and grade giving kids the opportunity to participate as a team with their classmates. Both boys and girls are invited to participate. The season, which starts the weekend of April 22, consists of seven games, with all games being played at Adams High School on the varsity turf field.
